VERY IMPORTANT-CITIBANK & OTHER BANKS ARE PULLING MASTERCARD???

October 26, 2009

Citibank and other banks are pulling mastercards off the face of the earth. Even people with good credit are getting denied. Gas Cards like CITCO, SHELL and others insured by these banks (AMEX, CITI, BANK OF AMERICA, WELLS FARGO) are giving the consumer headaches. Pretty soon there will be NO MORE CREDIT CARDS floating around and the only people to have them are large corps and rich individuals.

This is not fair and it is unAmerican to say the least. It is high time we, the people strike back. Where are all the patriots? These corporations are greedy and horrible and we have to be rid of them soon.

In the summer of 2009 I predicted that the banks and credit card companies are going to go bankrupt and I stand by that prediction. This is the start of that prediction and, unfortunately, the consumer always has to suffer.

We usually pre-pay our Citco credit card and that is why I think we have been safe but if the banks and FDIC go down then we got $100 dollars of no gas and nothing to show for it. I'm not pre-paying anything anymore.

Weird things do to money

October 12, 2009

If you decide to make your feelings known and deface American currency, keep an eye out for the Man. The U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing says:

"Defacement of currency is a violation of Title 18, Section 333 of the United States Code. Under this provision, currency defacement is generally defined as follows: Whoever mutilates, cuts, disfigures, perforates, unites or cements together, or does any other thing to any bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national b...

Another story about credit cards - this time AMEX

October 8, 2009
A friend of mine had an AMEX card that she maxed out . That was 4 years ago. Now they wrote her off as a bad debt but they were allowed to throw the card out there to bottomfeeding lawyers who paid something like (perhaps) $10 for her debt and are judicially going after her by attempting to sue her. My friend is on Medicaid and gets a monthly pittance from the state of her county so they can't touch that but they could make life uncomfortable for her in other financial regards.

In short - the...

I JUST GOT MY HOMESTEAD ACT REBATE THAT I FILED IN SPRING OF 2009

October 6, 2009
IT TOOK FOREVER but I finally got it and it was well over $300 dollars - it was $880.52 and very appreciated. Thanks President Obama now can I have my $80K from the bailouts that failed to stimulate the economy?

I'm asking because nothing short of a world war is going to stimulate the bank situation. Bank of America is still threatening to close all their physical banks and keep it all online. That is not good for seniors who like going to the bank and depend on it being there when they need ...

FINANCIAL NEWS - TOPIC 1 - CREDIT CARDS

September 30, 2009
CREDIT CARDS are a thing of the past. Most people nowadays just use their debit cards knowing that they have a bit of money to spend and they spend under that amount.

Today's credit card situation is dicey because the companies that hold credit cards along with the banks got a bail out but  now to protect themselves they are finding ways to screw the general pubic who bailed them out last year. Take for example CHASE and BANK OF AMERICA credit cards who were the first to cut people's credit l...
